Terms & Conditions

Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Universal Enterprises. By accessing or using our website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our website or placing an inquiry or order.
1. About Our Business

Universal Enterprises is an export and sourcing business supplying products to international and local buyers. Our product range may include Himalayan Pink Salt, surgical instruments, sports goods, home textiles, groceries, fresh products, and other products listed on our website.

2. Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that the information, descriptions, images, specifications, and prices displayed on our website are accurate and up to date. However, product specifications, availability, packaging, and prices may change without prior notice.

Images shown on the website may be for illustration purposes. Actual products may vary slightly in color, appearance, packaging, or specifications.

3. Product Inquiries & Quotations

Product inquiries submitted through our website do not automatically constitute an order.

Prices, minimum order quantities, specifications, packaging, shipping costs, payment terms, and delivery schedules will be confirmed through an official quotation or sales agreement.

A quotation may have a specified validity period and may be subject to product availability and market conditions.

4. Orders

An order will be considered confirmed only after both parties agree to the applicable product specifications, quantity, price, payment terms, shipping terms, and other relevant conditions. For customized or private-label products, additional minimum quantities, artwork approval, production charges, and lead times may apply.

5. Product Quality

We work with selected suppliers and manufacturers and aim to provide products that meet agreed specifications and quality requirements.

Where applicable, buyers may request samples, product specifications, inspection, testing, or relevant documentation before confirming an order.

For regulated products, buyers are responsible for confirming that the products meet the applicable requirements of their destination country unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Payment

Payment terms will be agreed between Universal Enterprises and the buyer before order confirmation. Accepted payment methods and payment schedules may vary depending on the product, order value, destination, and buyer requirements. Universal Enterprises reserves the right to suspend production or shipment if agreed payment requirements are not fulfilled.

7. Custom & Private-Label Orders

Customized products, branding, printing, packaging, labeling, and private-label orders may require additional charges and production time.

The buyer is responsible for providing accurate artwork, branding information, product specifications, and labeling requirements and for approving proofs before production.

8. Shipping & Delivery

International shipments are subject to the agreed shipping terms and Incoterms stated in the quotation or commercial agreement. Estimated delivery times are provided in good faith but may be affected by production schedules, customs clearance, transportation delays, weather, port congestion, regulatory requirements, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

9. Customs & Import Requirements

The buyer is responsible for ensuring that the products can legally be imported into the destination country and for complying with applicable import, customs, tax, labeling, registration, certification, and regulatory requirements, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

10. Inspection & Claims

Buyers should inspect products promptly after receiving the shipment. Any claim relating to damaged, defective, short, or incorrect goods should be reported to Universal Enterprises within the agreed period and supported by appropriate evidence, such as photographs, inspection reports, packing details, or other relevant documentation.

11. Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, logos, graphics, photographs, designs, and other materials belonging to Universal Enterprises may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or commercially used without prior written permission.

12. Website Use

You agree not to misuse our website, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious software, interfere with website operation, or use website information for unlawful purposes.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Universal Enterprises shall not be responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of this website or delays or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

14. Force Majeure

Universal Enterprises shall not be liable for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, strikes, pandemics, government restrictions, transportation disruption, port closures, customs delays, or other unforeseen events.

15. Changes to These Terms

Universal Enterprises may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Updated terms will be published on this page with a revised date.

  • Quantity and weight

  • Package dimensions

  • Destination country and port

  • Shipping method

  • Freight rates

  • Customs and handling charges

International orders may be supplied under agreed Incoterms, such as EXW, FOB, CFR, CIF, or other applicable terms.

The responsibilities of Universal Enterprises and the buyer regarding transportation, insurance, customs clearance, duties, taxes, and delivery will depend on the Incoterm stated in the quotation or sales agreement.

4. Processing & Production Time

Production and preparation times vary by product and order quantity.

Standard products may be prepared more quickly, while customized, private-label, printed, or specially packaged products may require additional production time.

The estimated lead time will be communicated before order confirmation.

5. Customs & Import Clearance

The buyer is generally responsible for import customs clearance and applicable duties, taxes, fees, permits, registrations, and other destination-country requirements unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Buyers should verify all applicable import requirements before placing an order.

Delays may occur because of customs inspections, port congestion, transportation disruptions, adverse weather, government restrictions, documentation issues, or other circumstances outside our control.

8. Damaged Shipments

If goods arrive damaged, the buyer should notify the relevant carrier as soon as possible. Photographs of the packaging and damaged goods, shipping documents, and other supporting evidence may be required to process a claim.
